We went to law school. We read the small type. (Sometimes, we even write it.) As “outsiders” we offer a unique perspective, and we work harder to prove we are as good as the insiders. Our goal, of course, is to be better. Way better.

We have a track record of identifying and championing exceptional value through a purposeful strategy with companies whose willingness to form deep and transformative relationships goes beyond transaction. We do both qualitative and quantitative due diligence on any prospective deal or company. We offset risk with structured deals and diversity of stages. We’re agnostic when it comes to stages or business category. We prefer potential and revolutionary and transformative ideas.

Leadership

  • Co-Founder Principal

    Jeffrey is a licensed attorney with a background in real estate transactions. He worked at Miller Canfield before starting his own company. Together with his partner, Bradley Hayosh, he has grown Wickfield Capital into a $75 million-dollar grossing firm.

    Jeff concentrates on deal structures and investment management. He acts as start-up advisor to Petzey, is Chair of the Board for SignPath Pharma, and sits on the board of Bedrock, a supplier management AI company, and is the President of Wickfield Properties.

    He holds both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan. He lives in Ann Arbor with his wife and three children. When not seeking new ventures, he seeks adventures.

  • Co-Founder, Principal

    Brad has an extensive background in private equity investing. Throughout his career, Brad has directed well over a billion dollars of equity and debt investments across multiple business verticals. His expertise includes, commercial real estate, animal diagnostics, pharma, healthcare, hospitality as well as software and technology to name a few. 

    Brad focuses on both sourcing deal flow as well as providing active support to investments. As such, he serves the board of Barstar Hospitality Group, SignPath Pharma, Inc., and as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Bedrock, Inc.

    He resides in Brighton, Michigan with his wife, two children and an emotionally needy goldendoodle. When not driving business for Wickfield, he drives a rally car.
